I knew Marianne at work in the White Plains, NY office. She was a wonderful person -- warm, funny, generous and fair. We clicked on many levels, including our German heritage. She often spoke lovingly of her family, especially her nieces and nephews. I considered Marianne to be a friend and am sorry we fell out of touch before her passing. Rest in peace, Marianne Rogers. Thanks for being a great lady and friend. My sincere condolences to the family.

To the Rogers Family,
Sending heartfelt condolences to each of you. Marianne was always so kind and thoughtful to me and my family. I will never forget! I have happy memories of bowling with her and Christine. Those were fun times. I know the good Lord is embracing her and she is in a beautiful place. Praying for all of you at this very difficult time and that Jesus gives you peace. God Bless you Marianne, we miss you already! Love, Chrissy and family

I knew Marianne when she worked in New York but it wasn't until she moved to California and worked with my husband that she and I became true friends. Bob and I knew very few people and she didn't know many either. We became "family."
She was the most truly selfless person I have ever known. She always put others first. When it was your birthday, she went all out -- decorations, enough food to feed any army (haha), presents ... She watched school plays. She attended graduations. And, how she loved to drive! She'd read about a place and before you knew it, off we'd go! We laughed so hard sometimes that we would almost pee in our pants and when we cried, we thought our tears would never end.
Sometimes you meet a person and you just click - you're comfortable with them, like you've known them your whole life, and you don't have to pretend to be anyone or anything. That's the way I felt with Marianne.
One of the greatest gifts of my life has been my friendship with Marianne. She was a true friend. I miss her already.
Her footprints will ALWAYS be in my heart.
Love XOXO
Gale (Joe and Mary Elizabeth too)
