I would like to express my deepest condolences to Catherine's family. I have had the pleasure of working with her daughter Cathy for over 20 years at New England Biolabs in MA. Over that time Cathy has shared many stories about her mom. They shared a taste for tea (something that I know Catherine really enjoyed), a good sense of humor and a mutual deep love for each other and their family that was evident through those stories.

I want to send my deepest sympathy to my Aunt Catherine daughters Linda, Paula and Cathy and their spouses. Catherine brother Tom and her sister in law Bonnie. All of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of my memories of Catherine was of a time I showed her a old picture of herself and her sister Dolores and Joan my mother. I commented on how beautiful Aunt Catherine was. She said oh no your mother was the beautiful one. Believe me they were equally beautiful. That was not the only time she made a comment like that. She wouldn't accept a compliment for herself she passed it on to her younger sister. My other memories were more recent. I was lucky enough to be able to attend a nursing conference every year in Garden City with a group of my friends. We would meet up for dinner with Paula, Aunt Catherine, Uncle Tom and Aunt Bonnie. Some years just Paula and Aunt Catherine if Uncle Tom and Aunt Bonnie were in Arizona. We had such a great time together laughing,drinking nice wine, eating great food.. I could see how much Aunt Catherine enjoyed hearing all the stories . We all enjoyed each other's company so much. I think she especially got a kick out of one of the ladies Colleen she could tell some great stories. But what Aunt Catherine may have not known is Colleen had a great fondness for Aunt Catherine. Colleen would tell me I can tell your Aunt is a pistol and always has been. The whole group of us has such great memories of those times . They all send their Condolences especially Lynn and Colleen.
