When I was younger, Zoran was a towering, larger-than-life figure. To me, he was an avuncular giant of a man with a zeal for life, whose booming voice (with its exotic-yet-captivatingly-delightful-to-my-young-ears intonation) I can still hear today. Whenever I'm hit with the aroma of a cigar — a good cigar! — my mind darts immediately to these (and many other) indelible memories of our beloved friend Zoran. I will forever remember him this way and smile with appreciation and with love at the incredible good fortune my mother, Renate, and I were blessed with to have had Zoran, Jill, Andrew, and Dean as such a big part of our lives for over fifty years.
Jill, your love and friendship has meant the world to both of us. Our hearts are with you now and always. We love you.
