Well it was quite a ride. From the crazy stories and colorful cast of characters that were your friends, you will be missed. From boats to cars you taught me a lot. You bought Thomas and I our first boat and let us keep it in your yard. From then on we were both hooked. Each of us owning several boats since then. You taught me how to drive a boat. You gave me my first job. You let me hide a car at your house until my father and I could let my mother know. Generosity unparalleled. I lived at your house for a few summers. Went to work with you everyday. From the limousine business, marina, leather/ suede route, dry cleaners... I saw a lot. You always made sure I was safe and happy. The day you took your boat to Douglaston for my birthday. We went back to your house, it got dark , the bridge was out and you couldn't find the buoy. Donna was searching for life jackets and praying. From the highs and the lows you always made it back. Hard work with 12 hour days 6 days a week. From the chainsaw accident to boats getting blown up, no one would believe the stories. I'm glad I was there to experience them with you. My only uncle, the fun uncle and more importantly my friend. Say hello to my Dad. Tell him I miss him. I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on. Rest in peace.
