My wife and I are long time friends of your mother, grandparents and great grandparents. We met them at Trinity House (a mission) in the Rockaways. I enjoyed fellowship at church and around the kitchen table, sharing in meals, bible study and support in life.
Leah was just a child as her siblings, and I enjoyed scaring them during Halloween and bring candies. Watched at a far as everyone grew up. Had the blessing of seeing Leah get married and have her baby boy. The village was and is so proud of how Pastor Dave and Sharon's family grew. I love seeing pics on facebook and the rare time I met Gabe at the house running around as a child enjoying life.
Take comfort in knowing nothing is more blessed than having a loving family around to love on you. And he was blessed to have that. May Abba receive your beautiful spirit and comfort those of us who remain. Sorrow and grief will be apart of this life for us now as we process and live around this loss.
