Aunt Val was my mother’s best friend, she soon became an irreplaceable part of our family by marrying my Uncle Bob. Aunt Val was more than just an aunt; she was a beacon of love, compassion, and strength.
Aunt Val was a beautiful soul, radiating kindness and warmth to everyone she met. Her life was a testament to the power of love and friendship. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the lights of her life, and she showered them with unwavering love and support. As nieces and nephews, we were equally blessed by her generosity and affection.
One of my most treasured memories of Aunt Val took place during one of the most challenging times in my life. After the heartbreaking loss of Gore, I ran into Aunt Val at Mandee’s clothing store. Without hesitation, she embraced me and let me cry in her arms for an hour. This memory encapsulates the essence of Aunt Val—her ability to provide comfort and love, no matter the circumstances.
She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could light up any room.
Rest in peace, Aunt Val. You will always be remembered and forever missed. Thank you for being the remarkable woman you were. We love you, Lori Mischke
