To Mr. & Mrs. Sarro Stephanie, Diane, Carmen and Emile:
I am saddened by the news of Mike´s passing. As you know, I have known Mike for over 50 years. Mike and I grew up together at Sun & Surf spending all our available time surfing, hanging out at beach bonfires after work, walking the boardwalk in winter doing wave checks, hopeful toward the coming of summer. If I close my eyes, I can always see Mike coming down to the beach with his big smile and his laugh. He was the best straight man for my comedy - what a great laugh he had. That picture will forever remain in my heart and he will be missed. I am honored and thankful that Mike thought enough of me to call me his friend and to have shared so much of himself too his friends and family. So as a surfer to a surfer I say to Mike: "Hui Hou" [Hawaiian - Till We Meet Again]. I know he will be in good company, as Tom Federico [Cousin] was there to greet Mike and perhaps share a few waves together.
