Adam E. Astone of Long Beach, NY, died on Friday, May 3, 2024. Adam was born on October 18, 1986 and lived his entire life in Long Beach. He graduated from Long Beach High School and was a long-time employee of the Long Beach Police Department, serving as a traffic enforcement officer for over fifteen years. Throughout his life and career, Adam was known as a dedicated and hard worker, but more importantly as a man who went out of his way to help others in any way he could. He will be remembered for his tireless service to the Long Beach community and to his colleagues in the Police Department. Adam was especially loved by the local schoolchildren whom he helped get safely to and from school at his crossing post. Adam leaves behind his long-time partner, Cristina Claps, his parents, MariAnn and Erik Astone, his younger brother, Nicholas Eisemann-Astone (Timothy), and countless friends, coworkers, and extended family members. Adam will be remembered for his love of boxing, his affection for animals, his light-hearted attitude and witty sense of humor, and his enthusiasm for working out. He was a dedicated coworker and community member. Most of all, Adam will be remembered for the love he had for his family and those closest to him. Services for Adam will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024from 4pm-8pm at Towers Funeral Home, 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Long Island Crisis Center.
