Bob Beckwith was a quintessential American hero, a true man of faith who loved his family and country with equal measure.
22+ years ago, I had the blessing of living next door to Richard Beckwith and his children, Jackie, Amy, Ruby, Thomas, Matthew, and Claire; they’re the nicest family I’ve ever known — which is true all of these years later, became brothers and sisters to me, as Richard became an adopted Dad, and Bob’s kindness, compassion, fervor for service, good humor, and generosity definitely lives on in them.
Though no words can assuage the anguish of the loss of such a towering figure, my family and I send heartfelt condolences, love, support, and hope that Bob’s cherished memory, kindness, and character live on in his family,
