Frank was a wonderful boyfriend to my mom, took her out and treated her with kindness and respect. We quickly grew to love him. He was an amazing grandpa to my children, Lilly, Jordan, Matt and Julian. I always admired how strong he was, how he raised Michael by himself and did an amazing job at it. He was there for us in all the good times and some bad. We will miss him dearly. He embraced us as family as we did him.

Thanks Frank for always loving our kids...for never missing a holiday card or phone call... never one chocolate Easter bunny missed, not one...for helping me out and watching Gabe when he was small...for being you, a friend.
Your pictures will stay, placed where they call home on our hutch. We'll be sure to remind the boys of Grandpa Frank. Yes, I know you corrected with Great Grandpa but, for us you were always Grandpa and I am honored.
You were my favorite. They don't make men like you anymore. We'll miss you. Miss you already Frank.

Our hearts mourn the passing of Francesco, whose humor and kindness reverberated in our lives. He was an esteemed presence in our neighborhood; a companion from times when he charmed my grandmother and took her to dinner to showing up to family functions . His fondness for fishing and boating brought us closer, as did the affection he carried towards my children, who adored him as their great grandfather. His memory will continue to uplift our spirits. Fair winds and following seas until we meet again God bless.

To our precious and amazing Uncle Frank we are happy that we got to spend so many moments and memories together, especially during Easter when we made you a whole Easter pie. You would complain that we gave you a whole one and then we would tell you to share it out and then you would eat it anyway, without sharing and then you would just chuckle. And when we would stop by to say hi and of course bring you some pastries. Our 10 minutes would start at the table sharing a Caprisun and then turn into a few hours, mostly at the door saying goodbye until you were done talking and then say “Okay then, I’ll let you go”. And today as heaven opens up we know you are looking down saying “you girls are all right, love you all”! As we go on today walking our path cherishing our moments and memories that we shared as a family you will be missed. May you rest in peace. Love always your girls Lori and Shamine and of course Dillon.

One of my memories of Frank is when Olivia, both his and my grand daughter was at my house for the summer. Frank called her to speak to her on FaceTime and as she was speaking to him she put the phone to face me. I said hi and we spoke a little. When Olivia hung up the phone we both looked at each other and at the same time said “awwww he’s so cute, I love him” He has left an impression on me that I will hold in my heart forever. He was a great man, father and in my opinion the best grandfather. I’m glad my grandchildren have those memories of him to cherish forever. Irma Amill

The first time I met Frank was when I went to his house with Mikey. He was tending to his tomatoes in his garden and he offered me some. We spoke for a while eating the cherry tomatoes. I always found him to be a very nice man and great father and grandfather. There are many more memories but this one is one of the fondest.

Our memory of Frank has been Halloween. We had to make sure Frank saw the kids as he loved seeing them in their costumes. We will always think of you Frank. Rest easy.

I have many happy memories with my brother but one of my fondest memories is when we all went on a cruise to the Caribbean. I had found out about this cruise through my Italian American Club and suggested to him that we all go. It was me, my husband Tony and brother Frank and his girlfriend Julia. Frank had been on my boats but this was his first cruise ship. He was amazed when he first walked on the ship. He could not believe how high the ceilings were and how beautiful everything looked inside. He thanked me over and over again for suggesting the cruise. We had a wonderful time.

Uncle Frank and I had a running joke about ice cream that started way back when I was maybe 6 or 7. He took my brother Tony, my cousin Jerry and his son Mark and I to Nunleys, which had a merry go round. I can still remember him picking me up and putting me on one of the beautiful horses. To make me happy he kept getting the brass ring so I could ride over and over again. Then he took us all for ice cream. The boys all got ice cream in a cone and I got mine in a cup.... I started crying and he tried to explain that the boys were much older than me and he didn't want me to mess up my pretty dress. I cried and cried so much that every time he saw me he would bring me some kind of ice cream in a cone. I flew into NY for my sister in law's birthday and he was not able to get ice cream cones but he found marshmellow candies shaped like ice cream cones and brought me a full bag... He used to even draw ice cream cones in all the cards he used to mail to me. Thank you for all the wonderful memories Uncle Frank. Love you and miss you.

Uncle Frank helped me fix up my very first car. It was a 1972 Dodge Charger and by the time I got it, it was 10 years old and in need of some work.
Uncle Frank loved his cars and he offered to check it out and help me fix it up. Thanks to Uncle Frank, my car was on the road and he was with me when I paid for my 1st tank of gas in my 1st car!
He presented this gruff exterior but those who knew him knew that he had a softer side.
Rest in Peace.
