Our relationship with Don started with his great acumen as a financial advisor. His skills at detailed financial mathematics and advice to his clients was exceeded only by his ability to turn complex subjects into easy-to-understand economic realities for those of us that needed simplification for understanding and decision making. Over time, his ease of communication with us melded into a friendship relationship where we discussed everything from snowstorms, cooking and family occurrences to politics and the state of our country for our children and grandchildren. He was a very smart, kind considerate man, who gave of himself to us and others that were privileged to enjoy his friendship. He will be missed, for sure, most by his family and close friends, but also by all that had opportunities to share time together.
