Sophie Dorothy Conrad, nee Wojcison, of Oceanside passed away peacefully at home at the age of 91. Sophie is survived by her husband of 69 years, John, her children Christopher, John Jr. and Stephanie. She leaves behind four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sophie was an active member of St. Anthony’s church and was a right to life advocate. She was an accomplished watercolor artist. She enjoyed being with her family
and friends. She loved to dance, watch Jeopardy and was a talented tennis player and bowler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Tuesday, April 11th at St Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY.. Burial will be in St Johns Cemetery, Middle Village on Tuesday, April 11th at 11:30 am.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 10th from 4 - 8PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
