Josephine, a/k/a GiGi/Grandma, and to her children, Ma-
I called her grandma out of respect. She was grandmother to my two nephews and niece, and to my great nieces and nephews. Grandma was old school and had class. I never saw, Josephine, when she wasn't dressed beautifully with her hair and make-up done. She reminded me of my own mom and aunts. She was warm and always greeted me kindly with a kiss hello. She always asked me how I was doing and was interested in a good conversation. One time, a friend and I went to play bingo at church for fun. While there we heard this spirited woman making jokes out loud, having fun, and when we turned to see who it was, it was grandma! She had a good sense of humor and she knew how to take a joke. Her grandchildren loved to play pranks on her, and she was always a good sport. I will always remember her in the kitchen, a hard worker, doing dishes and helping with dinner. I remember going into her separate room/apartment where she would watch TV. She told me she really enjoyed watching Turner. Classics. She also spoke about missing her two sons and her husband that passed. It makes me happy to think of them reunited. I know she will be sorely missed by all of her family because she was an integral part. I will miss seeing and speaking with her whenever I visit. Rest in Heavenly Peace, Josephine/Grandma/Gi-Gi. Bingo!
