Ronald Joseph Kirchner, age 60, passed away on August 25th, 2022 in his home in Oceanside, New York. Loving and devoted husband of Dawn Kirchner, and fantastic, outstanding, adoring father of Luke and Ava. His greatest loves were Jesus, his family, and the FDNY. Ronnie’s greatest joys were having fun with his wife and children, going to Disneyland, breaking a sweat on the dance floor, framing and decking, swinging his halligan tool, and cleaning. Ronnie had a lust for life, a tremendous personality, a huge heart, and a gentle spirit. He will be loved and sorely missed by all who were blessed to know him.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:45 am on Wednesday, August 31st at St Anthony’s RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 30th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
Donations in memory of Ronald may be made to The Fight for Firefighters Foundation, The Ray Pfeifer Foundation and/or Heart 9/11.
