Michael P. Gurlides, age 98, of Rockville Centre on February 8, 2022. Eldest of seven, he was born October 6, 1923 in Akron, Ohio. Beloved husband of the late Dimitra, married 72 years, Astoria, NY. Loving father of Olympia (Rev. Christos Constantinou), Thea Gurlides and the late Vanessa and Michael. Devoted grandfather of Dorian, Elias, Michael, Ariana and Evangeline and seven great grandchildren. He was a proud veteran of the US Army Airforce, WWII and Past President, Archon and lifelong loyal patron of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Hempstead, NY. Michael practiced General Law in Nassau County for 40+ years. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 11th at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral Of St. Paul, 110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale on Friday, February 11th at 1pm. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 10th from 5-8PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
