Obituary of Susan Jane English

Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The world lost a beloved Mother and Grandmother when Susan Jane English, Age 68, died on February 3rd, 2022 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her two children, Bob English (Megan English), and Corinne Teri (Jerome Teri), as well as her grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt and Liam. Sue was born to Sidney and Grace Gordon, and was raised in East Rockaway. She raised her own beloved children in Oceanside, where she found a large extended family and community who meant the world to her. She was known to be a mother hen to all of her children's friends, often hosting them at her home on Ellen Terry Drive. She spent her years as a fiercely loving force in the lives of her children, grandchildren, friends, family and neighbors. She will be remembered as the sweetest friend we ever had. Visitation will be held at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside on Tuesday, February 8th from 2-4pm, and again from 7-9pm. Burial service will be at Pinelawn Cemetary the following morning. Those that wish to attend should meet at Towers at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 9th.
