Obituary of Persi Jamshed Colah

The Colah family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Persi J. Colah, in Baldwin NY on January 30th 2022. He was an incredible human being whose 62 year life was a remarkable journey travelling well-chosen destinations, including wandering the back roads and forgotten paths. In his great career with Tower Air and Delta Airlines, he saw more of the world than the average person could only dream of, and his joyful and happy personality touched our family and so many friends near and wide. Persi is predeceased by his parents Perin and Jamshed Colah and brother Aspi Colah. He is survived by his brothers Eric and Jessy, sisters-in-laws Pushpa, Annamarie, and Persis, along with his nieces and nephews, Perin and husband Antonis, Freddy, Zenobia and husband Tyler, Ziba, and Zubin. He was a wonderful brother and uncle in our family, he was never afraid to seek out the best in all of us and made us rich with an abounding faith in life. His love for India and his close network of friendships, developed since childhood, made him a gentle giant, highly respected by all. His life was such a positive adventure, filled with love of family and friends, joyful experiences around the globe, cooking for those he loved, and accomplishing new possibilities every day. He practiced Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds in all his interactions and taught us how to live a full and wholesome life. He will be missed dearly by so many, and his small acts of kindness will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace!
