Obituary of Jason Small

We regretfully announce the passing of Jason Small, who passed away peacefully in his home on January 08, 2022 The sun rose and the world welcomed Jason, a bouncing baby boy on November 13, 1973. A beautiful child, full of life who made everyone smile who met him. Jason grew up on Long Island, a place he loved and never left. There he made countless friends and came to be known as one of the most loyal friends anyone could ever have. By the age of nine Jason was riding dirt bikes which led to his love for motorcycles, a love he carried throughout his life. “ Family, motorcycles , rock and roll and pretty women. That’s what it’s all about.” —— words that will forever echo in our hearts and minds. Jason was born a beautiful soul, his heart was gold and his love for animals was admirable. Jason is preceded in death by his adoring Grandmothers Anne Cuomo, Mary Small Grandfathers, Orlando Maccharulo and, Bernard Small. and his older brother Bernard “Bernie” Small. He leaves behind his loving mother Donna Giarraputo, his stepfather Gasper “Gabby” Giarraputo and his father Bernard Small (Stepmother Donna Lee). He is also survived by his sisters Lisa Maria Korosi (Mark) Tina Small Lisa Marie Giarraputo-Klein (Robert) and his brothers Robert Giarraputo (Linda Loo) and Gary Giarraputo He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Erika Clark(Justin), Dr Marissa Drummond, Krista Bruni, James Klein, and Stephen Klein. Most notably Joseph (Joey) Sorenti , with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. He will be in our hearts forever.
