Obituary of Nancy Ferretti

Nancy Ferretti (nee Galante) was called home to our Lord on December 24, 2021. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Mildred and James Galante. She was predeceased by her loving husband Anthony Ferretti and brother Nicholas Galante.
Nancy worked for most of her career in New York City and travelled to the West Coast regularly. She was a caregiver throughout much of her life for her family and through her various ministries in the Catholic church. She was an active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church for many years before moving to Florida in 1997 and becoming involved with St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines, FL. Nancy served as a Eucharistic minister, President of the Rosary Altar Society, and volunteered at several organizations after her retirement.
She is survived by her loving stepson Anthony, his wife Allison, and grandchildren Nicole (Charles), Valerie, and Danielle, along with her stepson Dan (Karin) and stepdaughter Diann Farbowitz (Steve) and their two sons Jonathan and Daniel. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside, NY on Wednesday 12/29/21 from 6-9pm. The Mass will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oceanside, NY at 10:45 am followed by the burial at St. John's Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oceanside, NY or St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
