Douglas Denson was my uncle. We didnt speak much after his parents past away but he was still my uncle n godfather. He will be missed by all who loved him. I love u Uncle Doug n say hi to Nana n pops for us. R.I.P.

Doug was my partner when we started Engine service at the LIRR over 30 years ago. He was very smart, a gentleman, a great co-worker, a good friend. You would never know if he is sad or mad because anytime you addressed him; you get a receiving smile. I’m very heartbroken about his passing and my deepest condolences and sympathies to his family. Laurie, Andrew and Kevin, We are so saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Trying to find the words but they will never be enough. We will miss him so much at the hunting camps and in our homes here in Nova Scotia. Doug's kindness, gratitude and loving nature is what made him a true gentleman and sportsman. He was a giant of a man and his heart certainly matched. Know that you and the boys are in our hearts and prayers.
