What a joy it was to know Despina. Although it was brief she was so personable. She was in rehab when my mother, also a Despina, was also there. I would wheel my mom in to see Despina and they would chat for a bit. She also had comforting words when my mom was lashing out with her dementia. May her memory be eternal.
