Obituary of Catharine Loretta Bella

Please share a memory of Catharine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
For those who knew and loved her, it has been a true blessing to have had our mom, Cathie, be a guiding light in all of our lives. Sixty years married to her husband, Paul, together they raised 4 children, Lisa, Christine, Paul, and Vincent, sharing a life with their family in Rosedale, New York, for over 30 years. To all who knew her, from her in-laws and their families, to her closest friends in Rosedale, to her Weight Watcher friends with whom she’d shared dozens of books and stories of her 11 grandchildren, Mom was well loved, and rightfully so. A stay at home mom, she made sure to be ever present in our lives, from lunch monitor in elementary school, the cheering baseball parent, proud mother at our college graduations, and a powerful voice of love and support to her grandchildren, Mom always ensured that we knew she loved us. She shared that love with each of us in different ways, and always encouraged us to become the best versions of ourselves. Here we are, today, honoring Mom’s life, remembering that she is always near to us, in each breath we take and each murmur of her name. Mom, we love you. May we always feel your presence in our lives as we try to make you proud. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
