Thomas Virzi, age 88, of Oceanside on Monday, January 18, 2021. Born in Palermo, Italy on 2/27/32. He migrated to New York when only 17 and became a proud devoted American.
Beloved and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his resilience, strength, determination, strength and enthusiasm for life.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 am on Friday, January 22nd at St Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. Entombment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale on Friday, January 22nd at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Thomas.
