Uncle Ray, a legend - last of the Mohicans and all around cool guy - he lived a hundred lifetimes in his 83 years. Tender as he was tough with the typical Montemurro whacky sense of humour - his witticisms will be forever part of my everyday parlance. Mi mancherai ogni giorno, Zio. Tua nipote, Gloria.

My dear friend of 44 years always treated me like family and I felt like he was an extension of mine as well. We had a lifetime of memories and a lot of laughs throughout the years that created a special bond between us. I called him Raymundo Mundo and spoke with him often over the phone after moving out of NY over a decade ago. He will remain in my heart always as he now lives in peace amongst the angels in God's kingdom.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. After my husband died Raymond always was so kind to me....Almost as though he knew my anguish. I will forever be grateful for the friendship he bestowed upon me over the years. I hope I was able to do the same for him I hope he knew how much I cared.
