Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Suzanne, 73, of Island Park, NY is survived by her children Kristen (John) and Kenny (Vita), Stepchildren Teri and Tommy (Christy) and her beloved grandchildren. She was a loving sister to her brother Steven (Judy) and Aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Thomas Snipp. Suzanne loved spending time with her family and celebrating holidays and life’s milestones, such as birthdays, graduations, soccer games, and dance recitals. Snipp family trips to Vermont and Nantucket were an annual event. She loved animals and donated to many charities, such as the ASPCA and the Humane Society. Her beloved Jack Russell, Kailey, was her constant companion. She retired from the Island Park School District, where she made lifelong friends. Suzanne enjoyed traveling and visited multiple countries in Europe with her group of travel buddies. Suzanne listened to country music and enjoyed going to concerts and Broadway shows. She was an avid Jeopardy viewer and everyone who knew her was aware never to call her between 7-7:30 pm. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4:00-8:00PM A private mass will be held at The Church of the Ascension in Rockville Centre. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to: St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The ASPCA
