Dear Wigand Family,
My name is Jose Ureta. I work for the export company Exser from Chile. My father and my uncle knew Paul from very long time. Me, my brothers and my cousin we had the opportunity also to share with Paul several times.
In all our visits to the US he was always available to take care of us and also aware of any detail. He was friendly in every moment to the all the people around him.
I want to share with you a picture of the last time that we saw Paul. This picture was taken outside KDC in January this year. He was very proud of this last project of the company that he worked almost all his life. That day he was there waiting for us smiling and happy.
Paul gain a very respect position in what he did in his life and also contributed to the relation between us and his team mates.
We will pray for him and his family.
Rest in peace Paul.

Hello Wigand family. My name is Eric Cabrera and I was a coworker of Paul’s. A memory of Paul is a trip in Peru . I remember that one of the growers had a horse show for us. In the midst of this show the grower ask us to get on the horse. Well Paul turns to me and said you get on the horse . I was hesitant but I went. What I remember is that as I was riding this horse in full gaucho gear Paul laughing hysterically and commenting step by step of the experience. It’s was a great time and a moment that I tell my family and friends at get togethers to this day . To Paul and his entire family i’d like to extend my condolences. He will be missed.
God bless you Paul and May you Rest In Peace .

Memories of my eldest brother, Paul. We are a big, Irish Catholic family. Paul was my eldest brother. When I was young, he was always there to find me and pick me up, when I was frightened or upset. When I was older, he helped me sort through my rebellious years. I looked up to him and was so proud of him when he went off to study at Niagara University. He was a hippie in the early 70s, wore ripped and sometimes patched dungarees, and a bandana on his head. He married his college sweetheart, Diane Lynn Marek, and they went on to have 3 beautiful children, Brien, Eric, and Alli. He adored his wife and was a loving and supportive Dad. During his life he was active in coaching and serving in the community. Paul was an outstanding husband, father, and brother. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dear brother.
