Please share a memory of Karen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Karen Cosme, 66, of Long Beach (formerly of Garden City), passed away on October 30th, 2019. Karen was born on February 8th, 1953 in New York City to Marie (Masterson) and A. Joseph Debe (both deceased) and grew up in Rego Park, Queens and Garden City, NY. Karen graduated from Garden City High School in 1971. In addition to her parents, Karen is predeceased by her sister Lori. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Tony, her 4 cherished children Deanna (Adam), Antonio, Lauren and Jessie, her 3 grandchildren Izzy, Christian and Cruz, her siblings Dawn (the late Alvaro), Joanne (John), Joe, Gina (Peter) and Crispy, and many nieces and nephews. This is a devastating time for everyone who was blessed to have known Karen. Despite her relentless health issues she always wore a beautiful smile. Her contagious laughter could warm up an entire room. It's an understatement to say that this world will be a little less bright without her in it. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America: support.lupus.org Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6th at Towers Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, 2681 S Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY.
