Just found that my dear friend has passed. We lost touch over the years, but so many fond memories that I hold very dear. Loved our camping days, teen dances and all the times you came to visit when passing through. Dear Mrs. Forte, Wayne, Rosie and all of Michael's family,
I just found out about Michael's passing. He was one of my very best friends and he will always be in my thoughts until we meet again. I had recently spoke with Michael over the summer and it was so great to catch up on things. We always had such great times going to Connecticut and visiting Rosie at her beautiful home. Some of my fondest memories are of those days with Michael.
May his life and memory be eternal.

Michael was a force of nature. He was my first crush and he took me to the prom. We regretted not dating...I spoke with him last year while he was in Spain everyday all day. We were thinking of reconnecting but the time was not right. He was an icon, he loved all the women he had relationships with, that's how he rolled. His political views were fierce but too loud, but that was Michael. This is do unacceptable his death. I love him and he will always be in my heart. But life as we know it will not be the same. My heart goes out to his family. I was very close with all. Elva is in my heart always and he'd say give her a call after 2 pm she likes to sleep. I miss them all...Michael you are my dream, my fantasy, my love and my life. We gave up too soon. But he fell in love with Jen and proposed. When he loved you he did it with all his heart and soul. I love you and will never forget you. He was inspirational when I had cancer and he kept in touch, he comforted me and loved me unconditionally, as he did for others. Michael was brilliant and generous, as I’m sure others will attest. But a thing I found alluring was his originality. Michael was a character and I am a writer—who could resist that match? He would say the sharpest, wittiest things—in the most offbeat way. He was an intoxicating adventure. I loved sitting beside him in his truck or car, heading along for his ride into the night. I was Wendy and he was Peter Pan. His work was his Neverland. He was my muse, as well as my protector. You were loved greatly, and will be missed by many! I’m sure your Dad greeted you with open arms. I hope you did the same for my Dad, who just joined you both on Tuesday.
