Salvatore Tamburo, age 80, of Oceanside died Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Mr. Tamburo was born March 13, 1939. He is the son of the late Angelo and Olympia (Cascio) Tamburo.
He served in the Army during the the Korean war from 1963 to 1965.
The funeral will be held 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 23 at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Friday, May 24 at 11:30 am .
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 23 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
