John J Traverso, age 98, of So. Hempstead died Saturday, April 13, 2019. Mr. Traverso was born June 24, 1920 in Queens, NY.
He served in the Army during World War II from 1942 to 1946.
Calling hours will be Monday, April 15 from 4-8 pm at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY. A private cremation will take place Tuesday.
